Terms of Service

This page describes the Field & Barn AI farm adviser and the account, subscription and booking flows verified in the app. Unresolved business terms are marked for owner input rather than filled in with standard boilerplate.

Effective date: owner confirmation required. The legal contracting party has not been confirmed. Field & Barn is the product name currently shown on the site.

The adviser and access sequence

Field & Barn is an app-based AI farm adviser built for small family farms that cannot afford a consultant. It is an AI service, not a human professional.

  1. You can ask five questions anonymously at no charge.
  2. The app returns the fifth answer first, then sends you to sign up.
  3. After creating an account, you can complete or skip farm setup, then choose a current plan to continue using the adviser.

Signed-in features include farm profiles and farm-linked chat history. Pro and Farm+ include photo diagnosis. Signed-in voice notes can be transcribed to editable text; the adviser receives that text only after you send it. Feedback on an eligible answer is optional, is saved with that farm's advice history, and may inform later guidance for that same farm.

This description covers the verified website chat and in-app voice-note flow. It does not offer or promise WhatsApp or SMS service.

Advisor plans and monthly prices

The current offers display the following monthly amounts by region. Hosted Checkout uses the USD amount shown in the last line of each plan, regardless of the locally displayed amount.

A card issuer may convert the USD charge to the card's currency. Hosted Checkout does not calculate taxes automatically.

For an eligible, verified active subscription, the signed-in account billing page links to Stripe's hosted customer portal to view invoices, update payment details, change a plan or cancel. The Pro offer alone is expressly described as “cancel any time”; that wording is not extended here to Entry or Farm+.

Human agronomist consultation requests

A signed-in farmer can request a date and add notes. The app links the request to the farmer's active farm and creates it with a pending status. It then opens hosted, one-time Stripe Checkout. A booking confirmation email says the request is not a paid receipt; the app marks it paid only after Checkout verification.

Referral offer

The owner's stated offer is two free months if the referred person signs up. The current referral screen and reward code instead award two months after the referred person starts a paid adviser subscription and that checkout is verified. This qualifying-event mismatch is unresolved and needs owner confirmation; this page does not change the signup-based offer into a paid-subscription condition.
